But then I saw an immense history of MP connection issues that plagued Definitive Edition and a ton of incredibly retarded advices from the devs on how users should try to fix it for them (instead of like, you know, delivering a properly working MP game in 2020).

• I put my money in the trash, could not stay more than 15 minutes connected in the multiplayer game.

  I have been trying to play for 30 days and there is no way, my internet is very good and I have never seen it fall once, I made all the tips of the community because I have not found one.

  I feel ... deceived

• Since the last patch, I can not start or install the game. If I want to start the game always opens the windows store. also reinstall does not work.

  what can i do?

• I cant find a solution to my problem. I have a 6gb gtx1060 with cooler and amd fx8350 overclocked with liquid cooler. 16 gb ddr3 ram and game is on a ssd. It worked ok for a day but now it does the following: game doesnt load when opened. Have to kill in task manager then retry. When it works it's so slow. Graphics on minimum in settings and I've tried everything imaginable to put all focus of my pc power to the game. Still getting 15 to 45 fps and that is after waiting 5 to 10 min for the map to load wether its single player or campaign. I cant find a solution. I dont know how people with similar or lesser pc setups are enjoying this game to its fullest potential and I'm just sitting here waiting for ever for it to load, if it loads, and if I can be patient enough to play at less than 30 fps. If I accidentally click on the screen while its loading its 100% guaranteed crash to desktop everytime. Game is fully updated. No enhanced graphics installed. Windows 10 x64 fully updated. Etc. 😣. Help?

• After I bought and installed this at Microsoft store I can't play this game. It's automatically out when I tried to open the game.

• It is sad but I must say that I am deeply disappointed with the game. Its performance is poor, far from AOE DE. The amount of memory required to run the game is absurd. Even with the necessary requirements, its performance is not satisfactory. The best improvement that can be made is in cleaning the source code of the program that is probably too much junk. If anyone asked for my opinion about buying the game, I would certainly say no! It is a waste of money!

• Will it be possible to download the patch from the MS Store before the weekend? I would like to play with my steam friends but am always lagging behind since they recieve a new patch close after I am catching up again and again and again… As of now I have not played a single game since launch day with them lol

  • 33315 was available from the MS Store for me before they even posted this note. If you're confused about the heading here, they still haven't fixed its saying 33351, which doesn't exist.

• please fix the ping from Brazil
  pinging over 100 ms is bad for optimal play and 40 to 80 ms
  we have good connections here you just have to optimize the game servers

  • I have been having the same problem. I didn't can play multiplayer because this problem.
    Just optimizer the game servers to improve the gameplay

• I feel like it may speak volumes that the update number is mis-typed on the front page, and then copy-pasted from the previous update in the big brown instruction boxes above, so it is wrong there as well. But it worked, even a good hour before this announcement :)
